Honduras's first solar park nears completion

The first of seven parts of Honduras's first solar energy park will begin operating in February next year, said Gerardo Salgado, Planning Manager at the state utility firm Enee.

The seven parts of the project will be built in Choluteca and Valle, southern Honduras, and will begin to operate in the first half of 2015.

The total installed capacity of the parks will be 250 Megawatts.
