Honduras seals $50 million dam deal with SinoHydro

The government of Honduras signed an agreement with China’s SinoHydro for the first stage of the Patuca III hydroelectric project.

The second phase will amount to $350 million, according to the Honduran state electricity company, the ENEE.

During the first phase, Honduras aims to inject 104 megawatts/hour, of a total of 600 megawatts/hour for the whole project.
