Honduras sees 15,000 new maquila jobs
Thursday, June 12, 2014
Honduras's maquila sector is expecting to create some 15,000 jobs this year, said Daniel Facussé, president of the country's maquiladora association.
The jobs would be created as long as Honduras maintains the rules for the sector and the public and private sectors strengthen their relations, he added.
"The exporting sector is going through a good moment as national and international investor confidence is growing," Facussé said.
