Honduras sees $70 million in melon exports

Honduras's melon harvest began Monday this week, and producers are expecting to generate $70 million in exports of the fruit.

The figure is higher than the $63 million from the 2013-2014 harvest.

This year, Honduran melon will enter new markets such as Japan and Taiwan, said Agriculture Minister Jacobo Paz.
