Wednesday, July 31, 2013

The Honduran banana industry has shown strong performance during the current harvest.

So far this year, the country has exported some 22 million boxes, and expects to end the year with some 45 million boxes, said German Zepeda, an industry leader.

If the banana growers reach their goal of 45 million boxes, it would mean an income of about $286 million.
