Honduras to prioritize solution to public debt

Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández's administration has set as a top priority to find a solution to the country's public debt.

Honduras's debt reached $7.5 billion last year, representing 42 percent of the country's gross domestic product.

However the problem is not the amount, but the availability of resources to pay it back, central bank president Marlon Tábora said.
