Honduras to sell octopus to Japan and Mexico

Honduras will start to export farmed octopus this year, said agriculture viceminister Juan Carlos Ordóñez.

At the moment, farmers are getting ready to export the first 2,500 octopuses to Japan, Ordoñez said.

He added that as part of the trade process, Honduras has established contacts with Mexican and Japanese companies.
