HSBC us betting heavily on Mexico

HSBC, the British based global bank, has given major support to the Mexican government of Enrique Peña Nieto.

In an interview with the daily Reforma, Stuart Gulliver, HSBC’s global chief executive explains how he has been restructuring the coup, closing operations in Turkey and Brazil while reducing the workforce by 25,000 jobs. But in Mexico, he is doubling his exposure to Mexico because of his confidence in the government’s reforms.
