Iberia to open direct Panama-Madrid flight

Spanish airline will begin operating a daily direct flight between Madrid and Panama from July 6.

"Growing in Latin America is at the core of our strategy, and we are doing it through several ways, such as opening a direct flight to Panama," said Frédéric Martínez, Iberia's regional director.

Panama is a market showing strong economic growth, and Iberia is keen on offering the best connectivity options for Panamanians and, at the same time, favor the arrival of tourists to the Central American country, Martínez added.
