IBM opens $300 million service center in Costa Rica

IMB opened a technology information services center in the America Free Zone in Costa Rica.

The company will invest $300 million over the next 10 years for what will be Costa Rica's biggest service center to be built in the last eight years.

In addition, IBM has plans to hire 1,000 employees by 2014, in addition to the 1,000 already working in the company's Global Park and UltraLag free zones.
