Ibredrola to invest $5billion in Mexico

Spanish energy firm Iberdrola plans to invest at least $5 billion in Mexico over the next six years, the company's president Ignacio Sánchez Galán said.
Of the total, $1.5 billion are already invested in projects currently under construction, which include wind farms and solar energy plants, he added.
Sánchez said the company has been eyeing investments in Mexico since the government announced it would open the energy market to the private sector.
