ICE announces that authorized iPhone 4 sales will be coming soon to Costa Rica

Friday, April 8, 2011

Although Apple's iPhone 4 can be found at retail stores and in the hands of cell phone users in Costa Rica, it is not on Apple's official list of authorized countries.

The news of the arrival of the iPhone in Costa Rica was made by the state-owned Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE).

The ad says the iPhone is "coming soon", but does not specify a date or price.  Unofficially, the iPhone sells for more than $1,300 for the 32 Gb model.
