ICTSI wins $600 million bid for Puerto Cortés

International Container Terminal Service, ICTSI, from the Philippines, will sign a contract worth $600 million for the construction, financing and operation of Puerto Cortés, Honduras.

ICTSI was the winning company of the bid which the Honduran government and Ficohsa bank convened earlier this year.

The new port will have 1,100 meters of quays, 12 cranes and a capacity to handle 1.8 million TUI.
