IMF renews Colombia’s $11.4 billion credit line
Thursday, June 8, 2017
The International Monetary Fund has reviewed and reaffirmed Colombia’s eligibility for a $11.4 billion two-year flexible credit line that was originally approved in June 2016.
While the nation has had a credit arrangement under the Fund program dating back to 2009, Colombia’s policymakers have stated that they continue to view this as merely a precautionary source of capital and not an arrangement they plan to draw on currently, according to the global institution.
