Infinity Energy to start Nicaragua offshore exploration

A 3D and 2D mapping program is to start in this year’s fourth quarter on the Tyra and Perlas blocks in the Caribbean offshore Nicaragua.

Infinity Energy Resources will shoot the seismic to help evaluate the combined 1.4 million acres of concessions.

Infinity Energy also noted that a Noble Energy Inc. group is drilling the initial exploratory well on Noble’s 1.8 million-acre concessions adjacent east of Tyra and Perlas.
