Insurance business has big potential and plenty room to grow

With its huge but largely unexplored potential, Central America is a very attractive market for the insurance business. The main challenge is the need to standardize services and products within the same platform.
Costa Rica, where annual premium income is $800 million, has the highest market penetration in the region, while Panama has the biggest market at just over $1 billion.
