Intel dominates Costa Rican exports to China

The free trade agreement between Costa Rica and China is producing its first results.

In one year that the accord came into effect, Costa Rican exports rose by 107 percent.

But the increase was largely due to exports of chips and other equipment by Intel. Without those, the increase would be only 50 percent.
