Intel invests $80 million in Costa Rica this year with new 22 nanometer microchip

American microchip company Intel has announced it will invest $80 million in Costa Rica this year.

The investment will go toward the development over the next weeks of its new 22 nanometer microchip.

Since its arrival to Costa Rica, Intel has invested $800 million, with a positive impact on the country's education through a project that allows teachers and students to use digital resources.
