Inter-American Bank urges more fiscal reforms for region

Monday, February 26, 2018

Central America closed last year with a fiscal deficit of some 2.3 percent and a forecast of 2.4 percent for 2018, says a report from the Inter-American Development Bank that recommends more fiscal reforms on current spending and income.

The report says that the region needs to provide a much bigger margin in order to counter any possibility of a crisis.
