Inter-American Development Bank to lend Honduras $160 million this year

The president of the Inter-American Development Bank, Luis Alberto Moreno, announced that Honduras will receive $160 million this year.

“We’re working on $600 million for what remains of President Lobo’s administration, and obviously that is disbursed year by year,” Moreno said.

The money will be used for water and sanitation, energy, transport and highway repairs as well as assistance to the poor.
