Internet subsidized for low-income Costa Rican families

About $128 million will be invested in Costa Rica in the Hogares Conectados plan, which grants subsidies for a computer and Internet access to families living in poverty. So far $2.2 million were invested and 19,400 houses received the benefit, 15 percent of the 140,000 planned until the end of 2018.
Emilio Arias, Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, said in a dialogue with Costa Rica Today, that the goal will be met in the time scheduled.
