Investment creates thousands of new jobs in Costa Rica

Costa Rica received just over $2 billion in foreign direct investment in the last nine months months of last year, resulting in almost 14,000 new jobs.

Most of the new arrivals are in the life sciences, global services, manufacturing, and food processing sectors.
