Investments in offices, shops and housing flood in to the east of Costa Rica’s capital

Once up a time, only two real-estate developers worked on eastern San José, the Costa Rican capital. No longer.

Dozens of projects are under way or on the drawing board, and milions of dollars are being invested.

The most recent project is the Centro Empresarial del Este, a $100 million business center that consists of four towers.
