Iran and Nicaragua to boost ties

The Governments of Iran and Nicaragua agreed to strengthen economic, energy and industrial ties.

The agreement comes after a visit by Nicaraguan vice-president, Omar Halleslevens, met with Ali Lariyani, president of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly.

Both leaders said they were keen to push forward development in both countries.
