Japan to build $2 billion Metro 3 for Panama

Panama’s third Metro line will be financed to the tune of $2 billion by Japanese banks and built using Japanese technology, President Juan Carlos Varela said.

Investment in the project is being arranged by Vice-president Luis Miguel Hincapié, who has signed a memorandum of understanding on the project, Varela added.
