Juan Valdez says 'so long' to Mexico

The Colombian Juan Valdez chain of cafeterias have been saying "So long" -- but not "Adios" -- to Mexico by closing their 10 shops in the hope of returning in a couple of years.

Juan Valdez made it to Mexico in 2013. Back then, it expected to open 100 shops within five years.

Starbucks arrived in Mexico in 2013. Then it had 250 cafeterias. Now the chain has 2,387 shops.
