Korea and Nicaragua to sign trade accord

Tuesday, August 28, 2018

Within a matter of days, Nicaraguan legislators are expected to ratify the trade accord between South Korea and Central America.

It will be the second Central American country to do so. The first was El Salvador, while Korean legislators have yet to ratify the accord.

Korean sources say that, following ratification, 80 percent of Nicaraguan imports will be free of all tariffs.
