Thursday, April 24, 2014

El Salvador's port authority CEPA has requested a $15 million budget reinforcement to the government for the dredging of the access canal to La Unión port.

According to CEPA president Hugo Barrientos, the dredging of the canal is urgent so that the port can begin operations.

The project for dredging the canal, which will allow vessels to reach the docks, will be carried out by the State, following the port's concession rules.
