Lala sparks concern among Nicaraguan companies

Nicaraguan business leaders are concerned over the arrival of Mexican dairy firm Lala to the country.

"We welcome any investment that improves employment in the country, but we still don't know what impact it will have on the local industry," said Jorge González, director of local dairy company La Perfecta.

González, who also heads the Nicaraguan dairy industry chamber, said Lala will likely compete in the same products as the firms which already operate in the Nicaraguan market.
