Launch date for Europe accord to be decided

The date for the launch of the association agreement between Central America and Europe will be decided on May 15.

The agreement is yet to be ratified by Costa Rica, El Salvador and Guatemala, said the representative of the European Committee for Central America, Francisco Javier Sandomingo.

"As things stand now, the trade section of the agreement is likely to come into effect in August this year", said Sandomingo.
