Legislators present $30 million plan for concession of El Salvador’s La Unión port

Two years after construction was completed of the port of La Unión in El Salvador, and almost a year since its inauguration, a bill has finally been presented for a concession of the terminal.

The plan is very similar to the one presented by the previous government in 2008.

The project stipulates an initial minimum investment of at least $30 million. The concession is to last for 30 years.
