López Obrador is the big winner in 'Nafta 2'

Several of the participants who were involved in the talks that led to a new Nafta-style trade pact among the US, Canada and Mexico were keen to grab the glory of what was a successful outcome.

However, not one of the Mexican politicians who were involved cannot hold a candle to Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

He has managed to avoid the humiliation faced by the current Mexican president, Enrique Peña Nieto, at the hands of Donald Trump.
