Mercedes-Benz to build new Colombia plant

German car maker Mercedes Benz, subsidiary of Daimler AG, announced its plans to open a new production plant in Colombia.

The new plant will be built on an area of 11,000 square meters in the state of Cundinamarca.

The plant is expected to open in February next year, and will produce six new lines of buses, two of which will be exported.
