Mexican companies to receive $1 billion for toll roads awarded in Panama

Mexican construction companies ICA and Pycsa are to receive $1.07 billion this year for the purchase of two turnpikes to which they have concessions in Panama.

 

“This is a complex transaction that includes negotiations with the two owners of the concessions,” said the deputy finance minister, Dulcidio de la Guardia.

 

De la Guardia indicated that both turnpikes will be fully nationalized in October or November.
