Mexican growth reached 3.9 percent last year

Mexico maintained steady economic growth in the fourth quarter, roughly in line with expectations, as strong domestic demand offset weaker exports in Latin America's second-largest economy.
Mexico's gross domestic product expanded 3.2 percent in the October-December period compared with a year earlier, the national statistics agency Inegi said.
For the whole 2012, the economy grew 3.9 percent, roughly in line with government expectations of 4 percent, making Mexico a mid-performer in the region.
