Mexico aims to increase tourism from China

Mexico has set its eyes on China to become its largest tourism market in Asia.

The Government is working on increasing connectivity and easing customs and immigration procedures, which will allow for more Chinese tourists to visit Mexico, said the country's tourism secretariat, Claudia Ruiz Massieu.

She added the Mexican Government will launch a promotion campaign to strengthen its presence in China, which included taking part in events, tourism fairs and an aggressive marketing campaign.
