Mexico and Panama need to boost micro-financing

Small companies in Panama and Mexico have shown strong growth over the last years.
In Panama, loans for this type of company reached $5.8 billion in March this year, however, the country has no regulations for micro-financing.
In Mexico, small companies account for 75 percent of employment, but they received only 15 percent of the country's total loans in 2012.
