Mexico, Colombia, Central America coffee sales slip

Coffee exports from Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic and Central America dropped 0.2 percent year-on-year in February.

The amount represents about 2.5 million 60kilo bags, reported Anacafé, a regional producer's association.

Accumulated exports for the 2011-2012 harvest, from October to February, show a 5.6 percent drop, down to 9.2 million bags, compared to the same period of the last harvest.
