Wednesday, February 27, 2019
The Mexican economy faces the risk of a recession as a result of the policies of the administration of president Andrés Manuel López Obrador and the way in which they are being implemented, according to a study by Citibanamex, the Mexican affiliate of Citicorp.
The bank has reduced its growth forecast for this year from 1.7 to 1.4 percent.
And that, it adds, "is the lowest growth rate for any years since 2009."
