Mexico could see summer seven share offerings

Friday, June 28, 2013

Mexico could see up to seven share offerings by the end of August, as firms take advantage of investor appetite for Mexican equity.

Jose Manuel Allende, head of planning and promotion at the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, said airline Volaris, airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte and real estate investment trust Fibra Shop could all issue stock by August.

But in the past the exchange's share offering forecasts have been at times overly optimistic.
