Mexico orders Slim's firms to reduce tariffs
Tuesday, April 1, 2014
Mexico's telecoms regulator, IFT, ordered Carlos Slim's companies América Móvil and Telmex to reduce several of their tariffs by 37 percent.
The regulator ordered the measure after it found the companies dominant.
Slim's companies argued that their tariffs are comparatively smaller than those for the same services in other countries.
