Mexico’s Lala invests $30 million in Guatemalan milk plant

Mexico’s leading maker of dairy products, Grupo Lala, announced plans Tuesday to invest $30 million in a Guatemalan milk plant. The Mexican fkoreign ministry said that the plant aims to increase employment and reduce the outflow of migrants from Guatemala.

The plant will be built in Escuintla, 31 miles outside of Guatemala City.
