Mexico to boost Central America disaster prevention

Mexico has committed to help strengthen and develop Central American countries with their disaster prevention programs, said the Mexican ambassador in Honduras, Victor Hugo Morales.

Morales stated it is essential to have a strong financial system, as well as institutions, in order to act efficiently in case of natural disasters.

The presidents of the region agreed to the common goal, said the Central American Natural Disasters authority.
