Millicom International Cellular reports surge in average revenue per user

Millicom International Cellular reported a surge in profit for the first quarter, as the percentage of customers using 3G and value added services increased.

Millicom's average revenue per user in Central America showed positive growth for the quarter.

For the first quarter, Millicom International Cellular's net profit surged to $230.1 million from $155.5 million in the year-ago quarter.
