Much-lauded Wingo airline has new chief

Wingo airline, listed for the second consecutive year as the best low-cost airline in Latin America, according to Kayak travelers, has named Carolina Cortizo Colón as the new CEO who will head major expansion plans in 2020.

Cortizo, daughter of President Laurentino Cortizo, is an industrial and systems engineer and holder of a master's degree from Virginia Tech, Newsroom Panama reports.
