Multinationals add thousands of new jobs in Costa Rica

Foreign companies are adding thousands of jobs to their workforces in the coming months.

Some 34 companies aim to contract 4,400 people this year. The companies are involved in life sciences, manufacturing and services.

Last year, multinationals in these sectors employed 7,452 employees.
