New Costa Rican law launches a revolution in the classroom

Monday, September 16, 2019

Costa Rican President Carlos Alvarado signed into law the Education and Dual Training Law, which will allow students to classroom studies with on-the-job work experience.

Alvarado and supporters of the law say it will help Costa Rican students prepare for the modern job market, but some young people have argued that the program will treat them like a cheap workforce, the Tico Times reports.
