New investments boost Honduras free zones

Available space in the free zones of Honduras has been reduced by a third in 18 months.

The figures show growth in manufacturing sparked by what industrialists say are signs of a US economic recovery.

The fastest-growing export sector in Honduras last year as electrical machinery and parts, with sales valued at $512 million.
