New Panama-Colombia ferry to boost tourism

Thursday, August 21, 2014

A new ferry service between Panama and Cartagena, Colombia, could attract some 100,000 tourists each year to Panama.

The Adriático ferry ship, refurbished in 2005 and with capacity for 1,000 passengers and 500 cars, will begin its service from October 24 this year.

The ship will travel from Cartagena to Panama's Colón 2000 port, and Boca Weekend, Colombia.
