New plan for open seas in Caribbean and isthmus

The Dominican Republic agreed on an action plan to free up maritime trade in container merchandise within the Caribbean and the Mesoamérica region, including Central America, Colombia and Mexico.

Experts from the region gathered in Santo Domingo to establish the principles for the scheme.
